Circumstances:
On May 23, starting at 10:30 a.m., the russian army launched a powerful series of missile strikes on Kharkiv. In the Osnovyanskyi district, enemy missiles struck the premises of the Vivat printing house. Two 5V55 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the S-300 system struck the printing plant’s premises, and one landed nearby. The strikes caused a massive fire. There were no military facilities or personnel at the site.
Casualties:
Seven employees of the printing plant were killed. Nine people were injured; all of the victims were employees of the printing plant.
Damage:
As a result of the missile strikes, the printing company “Faktor-Druk” LLC (Vivat Publishing House) suffered significant material and infrastructure losses, which severely disrupted its operations.
Suspects:
On April 14, 2026, four russian officers were charged with committing the crime: Oleksiy Rostyslavovych Kim, Serhiy Petrovych Monetov, Oleksandr Ihorovych Peshkov, and Andriy Anatoliyovych Tsyganov.
